Graduation Information

INSTRUCTIONS:

To be eligible for Fall 2008 graduation clearance, you must have completed all program requirements by the end of Fall Semester 2008. The 3 parts below will cover the application process you need to complete to be cleared for graduation in December 2008. There are three parts of the process that you will need to complete to be considered a candidate for Fall graduation. Please be sure to complete all 3 parts of the application process no later than September 15, 2008. If you have any questions, please contact your Campus Administrator. Part 1 - Diploma Application:
Go to Testudo http://www.testudo.umd.edu/Registrar.html, click on the link to Apply for Graduation under the 24 Hour Access menu. Fill in the fields on the application. Be sure to contact your campus administrator if you have any questions. Joint degree students (MBA/MS) need only complete the MBA application. The Diploma Office will re-enter your information for your MS. Joint degree candidates with other programs (MBA/JD, MBA/MPP, etc.) will need to apply twice, once for each program. Please consult the advisor for your other degree program for the instructions related to applying for graduation for the second degree.


Part 2 - Certification of Masters Degree without Thesis Form:
Please be sure to e-mail or fax the completed attached Certification of Master's Degree without Thesis form back to your Campus Administrator or he/she will not know that you have applied for graduation.
