MBA/MS Application Process

The MBA/MS Program

The MBA/MS program is a dual degree program leading to an MBA and a MS in Business Administration.  Students may concentrate their MS study in Finance.

Degree requirements include the completion of 66 credits total, or 12 additional credits beyond the 54 required for the MBA alone.  Out of the 66 total credits, 36 credits are used to meet MBA requirements and the remaining credits count toward the MS curriculum.  For detailed information about courses and specific department requirements please refer to our website.

Who Is Eligible

Applicants to the MBA/MS program must currently be enrolled as MBA students at The Robert H. Smith School of Business and have completed their core courses.

Application Deadline

The application deadline for Fall 2008 entrance is Friday, May 23, 2008.    Please note, only complete applications will be reviewed for admission.  All complete applications must include hard copies of: the MBA/MS an application form, a current resume, an unofficial copy of your business school transcript, and an internal Smith School reference (name and email address only).  Only complete applications received by Friday, May 23, 2008 will be reviewed.

Decision Notification

Decision notification will be during the week of June 2, 2008.  Decision notification will be by e-mail unless other arrangements are made.
