Denise Mooney, President
Denise is a Biosecurity Analyst at the MITRE Corporation in McLean, Virginia with previous experience in market development in the biotechnology industry. Denise's emphasis is in business development and strategic planning. She plans to integrate part-time students, full-time students, alumni, administration, faculty, and the surrounding community into a "One Smith" interwoven community.
Jimmy Tak Lee, VP, Internal Relations
Jimmy is a technical consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton and works onvarious network communication projects supporting multiple federalgovernment clients. He grew up in Baltimore, and he received a B.S.in Electrical Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park inof 2003. He plans to focus his MBA in consulting and projectmanagement. Jimmy is excited about having the opportunity to engagethe Smith community in activities that bring the different campusescloser together.
Adrish Sannyasi, VP, Community Development
Adrish Sannyasi works at BearingPoint as a Technology Architect in Healthcare industry area. His main responsibility is to lead enterprise systems (ERP/CRM) software implementation team. Previously, he worked at PWC Consulting and Tata Consultancy Services. Adrish was an External Relations committee member in 2007 and track rep for DC weekend 2006 entering class. He wants to improve the experience for part-time students through participation in community development activities, bringing together smith students at various campuses. He also wants to make students aware of social entrepreneurship, non-profit management, and environmental sustainability.
Deepa Janakiraman, VP, External Relations
Deepa Janakiraman works at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate in the Information Systems group. She is pursuing focus on Finance and Strategy. As VP of external relations, she hopes to introduce creative programs that fit into the schedule of part-time students to get rich MBA experience.
Craig Dixon, VP, Finance
Craig is a Premier Banker in Bank of America's Global Wealth Management Division. He has been in the wealth management business for seven years, previously working for Citigroup and Morgan Stanley. He plans to concentrate in entrepreneurship and international business. In his free time Craig enjoys world travel, reading, and competing in triathlons.
Praphul Kumar, VP, Marketing
Praphul works for Nextpoint Communication. He has spent his entire career so far in Telecom industry serving at various roles from consulting & project management to product management. He plans to do management consulting in business development , Strategy and M&A before starting his own venture. Praphul hopes to organise various events with focus on career development where Smith Students can participate, learn & network.
Tim Rager, VP, Technology
Tim Rager is a Technology Manager for a small technical services firm in Reston, VA. His other roles include being a Support Manager at Discovery Communications (home to the Discovery Channel and Animal Planet) as well as a technical instructor for Allegheny County Community College. While his role is primarily finding new ways to leverage technology to benefit the students, he also enjoys traveling, Saint Etienne, and triple venti soy no-foam latte's.
